If you are concerned that your license is about to be suspended, if you have been told by a police officer or a judge that your license will be suspended, or if you have received a notice from the BMV indicating that your license will be suspended, call Stracci Law Group immediately. We will help you get back on the road.
A person whose driving privileges have been suspended by the BMV may petition the court for Specialized Driving Privileges. At Stracci Law Group it is our goal to avoid the suspension completely, if possible. The sooner you contact us, the sooner we can begin fighting for you.
For example, if you have been charged with Operating While Intoxicated, the court will send a suspension notification to the BMV. We will quickly attempt to secure an agreement with the prosecutor to expedite the process of persuading the court to order Specialized Driving Privileges. In extreme cases, where such an agreement isn't possible, we will notify the court at (or prior to) your initial hearing of our intention to file a Petition for Specialized Driving Privileges. The court will not submit the suspension request to the BMV, but instead will schedule a hearing on our request for Specialized Driving Privileges, at which time we will ask the court for a order permitting you to continue driving under certain conditions.
